About the Michigan Prosperity Project

The Michigan Prosperity Project (MP2) is built on the belief that when Michigan citizens are informed and active in government and elections, then our families, our communities and our state will benefit.

The purpose of MP2 -- a deployment partner with the national Prosperity Project -- is to keep Michigan's working families and job providers informed and educated on the issues that most affect job creation and economic growth in our state. It provides nonpartisan information on issues, legislators, candidates and elections. Our voting records represent the most important votes on the issues that impact Michigan employers and employees – they are not intended to endorse or oppose any candidate for office.

The goal of MP2 is to provide Michiganians with the information and resources they need to be effective citizens and voters. We do not – and will not – tell you how to vote. That decision is up to you.

The national Prosperity Project is a joint venture between organizations representing the state's employers and business groups, and the Business Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC) in Washington, D.C. BIPAC is an independent, nonpartisan national entity whose mission is to identify and elect champions of free enterprise, and to encourage greater business participation in the political process.
